Lesson 40: Burmese words with vowel 'Eare'

The list of Burmese words with the vowel 'Eare' sound are given below in Burmese alphabetical order in the same sequence as in Myanmar dictionary.

Note the spelling petterns. Majority of words will have | nout-pyit on top of characters. Or else, the words will either end with ယ် | yah1 thut or ည် | nya1 thut.

The words spelled with | nout-pyit are in the third tone, and there is no way to change those words into the second tone.

To change into the first tone, use | out-ga1-myin1 at the bottom. E.g., နဲ့ | neare1.

The words spelled with ယ် | yah1 thut are in the second tone, and there is no way to change those words into the third tone. To change into the first tone, use | out-ga1-myin1 at the bottom.

The words spelled with ည် | nya1 thut are in the second tone, and it is possible to change those words into the first tone, or the third tone. To change into the first tone, add | out-ga1-myin1. To change into the third, add | shay1-ga1-pout.
